Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers - Take customer orders and provide recommendations on drink selections - Maintain a clean and organized bar area - Check identification of customers to verify age requirements for purchase of alcohol - Handle cash transactions and operate cash register or POS system - Provide excellent customer service, ensuring customer satisfaction - Adhere to all safety and sanitation policies and procedures - Monitor customer behavior and intervene as needed to maintain a safe and enjoyable atmosphere Skills:
- Previous experience in bartending or a related field is preferred - Knowledge of various drink recipes and mixing techniques - Familiarity with Aloha POS system is a plus - Strong customer service skills, with the ability to handle difficult situations calmly and professionally - Excellent time management skills, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment - Basic math skills for cash handling and making change accurately - Ability to work well in a team environment, collaborating with other staff members to ensure smooth operations Please note that this job description is not exhaustive and additional duties may be assigned as needed.
