Monday - Thursday, 2:

00 PM; however, it is flexible.
Your schedule will start slow with the potential to become a full-time position (if desired) as clients are added to your schedule.
The schedule is flexible to accommodate college or other positions you may have, but ideal would be M-Th 3-9.
The position begins now, with summer very flexible, and will get very busy starting in August 2023.

At Under Pressure Homework Help students develop a strong, personal relationship with their dedicated tutor during their ongoing, weekly sessions.
Our tutors fill different roles than a student's teacher and parent, putting UPHH in a unique position to support our students.
UPHH believes our tutor/student relationship is the foundation of each student's success.
The connection between the student and their tutor is everything.
The more connected a student feels to their tutor, the more the tutor can create trust and respect, which are the necessary ingredients for students to learn well.
When a tutor listens and spends time building a relationship with their student, the tutor can connect to the student's interests and teach to their strengths while minimizing the student's weaknesses.
With this, our students are more likely to increase their homework completion and accuracy with a tutor who builds a strong, personal relationship with them.
In addition, our students begin to set goals, use their weekly planner, and improve their general study skills and organizational strategies.
As a UPHH educator, you will work in our studio in Dana Point, CA, helping a variety of students with their daily homework, and concept help in math and/or science.
You will meet consistently with the same students each week so you can build relationships that support each student's learning and development.
You are reliable, responsible, organized, and willing to work.
You will be a second parent to each student, holding them accountable for their work.
As a UPHH educator, you are passionate about working with all kinds of learners.
You love seeing a lightbulb turn on when your student understands a new concept.
You're skilled at customizing your sessions to different learning styles and needs.
Every child is excited to come to tutoring because you make them feel like they are the most important student you will see that day.
